Community Participation

Out there, on your terms. Real activities, real places, real people, with the right support beside you.

Who it's for

For anyone whose world has gotten smaller than they'd like: young people who want mates and momentum, adults rebuilding confidence after a rough patch, and everyone who's tired of the same four walls.

What it can look like

Support that starts with what you're into, not what's on a program. For example:

Local sport and recGigs, markets and eventsVolunteeringLearning public transportBeach and outdoorsClubs and hobby groupsTAFE and course taster daysJust getting a coffee, regularly

How it works with your plan

Typically funded through your Core budget (assistance with social and community participation) and sometimes Capacity Building where the goal is developing skills and independence.

Every plan is different. Bring yours (or don't, we can help you read it) and we'll show you exactly what's possible.

Our take

Community participation isn't a bus trip with a headcount. It's one person, their interests, and a worker who makes the community feel reachable. That's the version we do.
